Gwyneth Paltrow might have saved a woman's life the morning of the September 11th attacks -- by almost running her over.
Lara Lundstrom Clarke writes on The Morton Report that she was rushing to work at New York's Twin Towers when she dashed across Seventh Avenue to get to the subway station -- and a Mercedes SUV came barreling toward her. Both Clarke and the car stopped in their tracks, and that's when she realized it was Paltrow behind the wheel. The near-collision caused Clarke to miss the train, and by the time she got to work, the first plane had hit the World Trade Center. Four people in her office died that day.
Gwyneth's publicist has confirmed the incident and says that the actress was "deeply moved" by the story.
