Who is hacking the cast of "Glee" on Twitter?

The cast of Glee has a Twitter problem.

Both Lea Michele and Chris Colfer’s accounts have been hacked. Colfer’s was first. (Via Fox / “Glee”)

The tweet has since been deleted, but according to multiple news outlets it said, "Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly." (Via Getty Images)

This apparent surprise fooled just about every major entertainment site, according to Mediaite.

But, in fairness, it did come from the actor’s verified account. (Via Twitter / @chriscolfer)

20th Century Fox, which produces Glee, said in a statement, "We've been alerted that Chris Cofer's Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from GLEE could not be further from the truth." (Via Getty Images)

The actor chimed in on the happening later Thursday. Apparently, he was on a flight at the time of the tweet. (Via Twitter / @chriscolfer)

Lea Michele was next. On Friday, her account sent this: "Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy." (Via Getty Images)

That tweet has also been deleted. She followed it up with this message announcing she’d been hacked, and she is, in fact, not pregnant. (Via Twitter / @msleamichele)

So who’s behind this? No one knows yet.

Perhaps it’s a Glee fan who just can’t accept next season will be the show’s last? Or maybe it’s someone who can’t believe it’s still going. (Via Fox / “Glee”)

Until we get the answers, USA Today offers this advice: “If you see a star’s tweet that makes your jaw drop, snap it shut and think twice.”

Unless that star is Kanye. Those tweets are all his. (Via Twitter / @KANYEWEST)
