Radio Talent -- Part Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: Cox Media Group has an opening for – Radio Talent. Responsibilities include, preparing and executing live radio broadcasts, working in conjunction with the station’s Program Director with on-air implementation and execution of voice tracking, special coverage, digital production, collecting news audio/stories, producing, writing, screening phone calls, setting up interviews, running an audio board, remote location equipment, social media, website and texting platform knowledge -- other duties as assigned. Experience covering major news stories and severe weather coverage a plus. REQUIREMENTS: Two years of radio experience is preferred. Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and have a valid driver’s license.

Cox Media Group - Tulsa is looking for a part-time announcer to perform one or two weekend shifts. Must be creative, friendly, entertaining, able to relate to our adult audience, customer focused, a team player, love the music and believe that part of your job is having fun. Preferred: Minimum 2 years of commercial broadcasting experience. Dependable, reliable, able to follow and execute directions. Sufficient technical skills and manual dexterity to operate broadcast equipment efficiently is preferred. Digital production skills, organization and pleasant, helpful disposition are a plus. Must be a dependable team player with good work ethic and able to work effectively with clients and co-workers. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Part-Time Remote Broadcast Technician

Cox Media Group - Tulsa is looking for a part-time remote broadcast technician. The position is responsible for technical operations of off-site remote broadcasts for four radio stations. Training will be provided. Preferred: Must be technically proficient with electronic equipment and willing to learn new technologies. Must be a dependable team player with a good work ethic and able to work effectively with clients and co-workers. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
