Recipe: Brownie Dessert Pizza

Candy-topped brownie slices in the shape of a pizza -- what’s not to love? Try this recipe for kids’ parties, too. It’s easiest to serve this dessert right out of the pizza pan. If you need your pans for other pizzas, buy a disposable foil pan for the brownie version.
-- Deborah Geering, for the Journal-Constitution

Hands on time: 15 minutes  Total time: 45 minutes  Serves: 12

1 package brownie mix for a 9-inch square pan (plus additional ingredients listed on package)
1 cup (about) miniature marshmallows, divided
1/2 cup (about) coarsely chopped miniature peanut butter cups
1/2 cup (about) candy-coated chocolate pieces
8 maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half
1/4 cup (about) caramel sundae topping

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly coat a 12-inch nonstick pizza pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions. Spread evenly in the pizza pan. Bake 15 minutes, or until brownie is nearly done. Sprinkle 3/4 cup marshmallows and chopped peanut butter cups evenly on top. Return to the oven and bake brownie an additional 5 minutes, or until the marshmallows melt. Cool. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup marshmallows, the candies and maraschino cherries. Before serving, drizzle with caramel syrup; slice.
