Mix 96.5 is proud to partner with Youth Services of Tulsa and Oklahoma Central Credit Union this holiday season through its Gifts of Hope program. The holidays are the most difficult time for young people living in poverty and for homeless youth who lack the support of a loving family.
The reasons youth find themselves on the street vary – from fleeing abusive relationships to being kicked out of their homes because of their sexual orientation and more. Each of their stories is different and painful and their path to regaining a safe place to stay at night may vary, but the Youth Services of Tulsa’s mission remains the same: to value and accept all youth, supporting and challenging them to embrace their potential.
Mix 96.5 is jumping in and helping to collect items that are most desperately needed by these young adults as the weather turns frigid.
Here is how you can help:
- Donate cash online by clicking here.
- Select a sleeping bag, tent, gloves, or hat on our Amazon Wish List.
Stop by and see us! KC and Jessica Rose will be broadcasting their show live from the Walmart at 10938 S. Memorial Dr. in Tulsa on Wednesday, November 29th. Stop by and say hi and drop off items to help the city’s most at risk population.
The Gifts of Hope program gives people an opportunity to adopt a youth for the holiday and help give them something to open on Christmas morning. Clients of Youth Services of Tulsa make a list and Green Country donors help make it come true.
THANK YOU for helping us help Youth Services of Tulsa as they work to help those in our community with nowhere else to turn.
Donations are tax-deductible.
