Mix 96.5 is proud to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on its annual Light The Night Walk. The event is an opportunity for Green Country to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by blood cancers.
This year’s event will be on Thursday, October 17th at Guthrie Green in downtown Tulsa. The festivities start at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by a one mile walk at 7:15 p.m.
During the walk, every participant will carry a lighted lantern to signify their connection to blood cancers. Red lanterns signify someone walking in support of a loved one with blood cancer, white lanterns are carried by cancer survivors and gold lanterns are carried by those walking in memory of a loved one lost to cancer.
The Light The Night Walk is free, but registration is requested. Participants who fundraise or donate can receive a number of incentives.
