The American Stroke Association, a division of the American Heart Association, is using May to raise awareness of stroke in women. Stroke is the #4 cause of death in women, and one in five women will have a stroke. Knowing watch to watch for and acting fast is critical in the battle in stroke prevention.
The American Stroke Association wants to equip people with information about stroke so they can be alert.
