City of Catoosa celebrates Fourth of July a little early

CATOOSA, Okla. — The City of Catoosa is having their Fourth of July celebrations a little early.

Wednesday evening was the first night of Catoosa’s Liberty Fest at Rogers Point Park. The event features food, games and carnival rides. Admission is free, but anyone attending will have to pay for carnival ride tickets.

FOX23 spoke with a Liberty Fest attendee who said he’s excited to bring his grandchildren along.

“I think it’s a very good little thing they’re putting together here. I’m looking forward to coming out here everyday,” he said.

Catoosa’s Liberty Fest runs until Saturday leading up to a fireworks display.
