Henryetta man in critical condition after mini dirt bike accident

MCINTOSH COUNTY, Okla. — A Henryetta man is in critical condition after a mini dirt bike accident on county road 1090, about 17 miles west of Checotah, in McIntosh County, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

OHP said Steven Miller, age 31 of Henryetta, was driving a Coleman mini dirt bike around 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

While going west on county road 1090, Miller struck a small divot. The bike went airborne and Miller was ejected about 10 feet.

Miller was taken by Air Evac to a Tulsa hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition with head injuries.

OHP said the cause of the accident is under investigation.

OHP also said Miller was not wearing a helmet.
