Tulsa fire marshal extends move out date for Vista Shadow Mountain apartment residents

TULSA, Okla. (KOKI) — The Tulsa Fire Department has announced the decision to extend the deadline for all occupants to be vacated until Friday, July 23.

The announcement was made after they say the tremendous amount of community effort put forth to ensure all occupants have a safe place to live and secure place for their belongings.

Tulsa’s Fire Marshal Andrew Teeter says, “The events that resulted in these conditions were unacceptable. I’m thankful we had partners in place and had our City team available to take the necessary actions when possible. The Fire Marshal’s Office will continue to hold anyone accountable who causes similar situations.”
