A 19-year-old was critically injured and was taken to an area hospital, according to WFAA. The other four victims are women who are expected to recover from their injuries, the television station reported. Their ages ranged from 15 years old to 30 years old, police season.

According to police, Lathaniel Pearson, 18, was seen pointing a gun at the site of the shootings and was ordered to drop the weapon, KXAS reported. Pearson dropped the gun and ran, but was apprehended and arrested after a short foot chase, according to the television station.
