On Monday, a student at Smith Elementary School in Owasso reported seeing a man wearing a ski mask outside and watching kids on the playground.

Officials put the school on external lockdown, but police didn't find anything suspicious.

Another student reported a similar sighting on Wednesday and followed the same procedure. Again, police did not find anyone outside.

The school sent a text alert to parents after each incident to let them know what happened. They said reports from students are taken seriously no matter what.

Police said the wooded area around the school has trails that are used frequently, so it wouldn't be unusual for someone to be back there. However, they would be concerned about someone wearing a ski mask.

Owasso officers do patrol the area and will continue to do so.
